Vasantha K. Perkari, MD

Dr. Vasantha Perkari received her Medical Degree from Gandhi Medical College, India in January 1979. She completed her Residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hematology/Oncology. She also doctored at Paterson Army Hospital located at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, New Jersey.

Dr. Perkari opened a private Primary Care practice in September 1989 in our Aberdeen, NJ office. As the years progressed, we quickly outgrew that office and expanded to a second office located in Holmdel, NJ. We recently opened a third location in Middletown, New Jersey. We currently practice daily from all three locations.

Dr. Perkari is credentialed at Hackensack Meridian Bayshore Hospital and Hackensack Meridian Riverview Hospital. She also has held numerous appointments on the Hospital Board of Directors and is a member of many committees. Her past appointments include Chair of Medicine and Medical Staff Vice President at Bayshore Medical Center. Dr. Perkari travels to many Monmouth County local subacute care facilities and nursing homes to follow patients.

Dr Perkari is a pleasant, empathic primary care Physician. She is attentive to every patient she cares for, whether it be in the office, hospital or nursing homes. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and traveling the world to experience different cultures.
